![]() It took quite some time to collect and embed the images, and they make browsing the collection nicer, so if anyone in the community can help me with this problem, that would be great. Someone wrote years ago that the embedded images have to be named cover.jpg, so I tried that too, although my images were named differently when everything still worked. I have Tumbler, Tumbler-plugins-extra and Ffmpegthumbnailer installed, and I also tried to change the priority between them (by editing the file tumbler.rc). Thumbnail me sourcecode has changed considerably. ![]() I have tried a few things and always emptied the thumbnail cache before trying anything new. Thanks to a friendly GUI, Thumbnail me lets you convert your favorite media into thumbnails in a few. I don't remember how I got embedded images to work initially, but I would probably remember if it was difficult. Unfortunately MKVToolNix includes a ton of unnecessary parameters for things you didn't change so you have to pick the relevant ones. Then I edit an existing batch file which loops and add the needed options. ![]() It may have stopped when I upgraded Mint to version 20, but it could have been a little later too. I use the MKVToolNix GUI to set what I want on one file and choose Multiplexer -> Show command line. Nemo had been showing the embedded images for MKV files for a long time before stopping. Nemo also stopped (possibly at the same time) showing embedded cover art for my FLAC files, but I got that problem solved by installing Xplayer. Sometime during the last few weeks Nemo stopped showing as thumbnails the JPEG images that I have embedded into my MKV video files (using MKVToolNix GUI). ![]()
